Key Responsibilities
  • Recognized as a developing expert, applying extensive technical knowledge to devise solutions for intricate challenges.
  • Exhibits significant discretion in establishing objectives and methodologies for assignments.
  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) with several years of experience, or a Master's degree with 6 to 8 years of experience.
  • Designs and executes solutions that integrate applications across the organization or its divisions.
  • Assesses current components or systems to identify integration needs and ensure that final solutions align with organizational requirements. Integrates various systems, networks, and servers to achieve overarching goals.
  • Diagnoses and resolves system issues to enhance performance and data quality.
  • Documents and creates visual representations of systems and their inputs and outputs. Optimizes maintenance and deployment processes to ensure cohesive functionality.
  • Collaborates with delivery teams to proactively ensure system integration, verification, and validation.
  • Offers recommendations regarding requirements management activities.
  • Generates, reviews, revises, updates, and maintains configuration documentation. Assists in development, quality assurance, and engineering efforts.
  • Acts as the technical liaison for change control processes and authority.
  • Works with engineers, developers, users, and management to coordinate changes. Identifies model elements and documentation necessary for systems design, development, testing, launch, and operation.
  • Defines and implements the appropriate level of configuration management for configuration items, ensuring traceability of design by linking or unlinking requirements across multiple artifacts.
  • Prepares configuration management activity/status reports and metrics for project meetings and reviews.
  • Conducts audits of configuration items to verify compliance with specifications, drawings, and interface control documents.
  • Analyzes impacts on system performance, sustainment, and supportability throughout all stages of the acquisition life cycle.
  • Plans, prepares, and executes configuration management activities and products in support of required audits and milestone events.
Specific Roles and Responsibilities
  • Advising and reviewing processes with stakeholders to enhance alignment of portfolio management, program management, financial management, technical management, system security integration, and engineering resources.
  • Facilitating existing and new forums and processes to enable more effective integration across technical and programmatic disciplines.
  • Serving as a technical reference on engineering review boards to ensure that all modifications to the operating environment are duly considered.
  • Recommending enhancements to existing forums and processes that promote more effective technical and programmatic integration.
  • Providing integration and decision support expertise to leadership and stakeholders to ensure that decisions reflect tactical and strategic priorities.
Qualifications
  • Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with a commitment to supporting teams with evolving requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in organizing, planning, communicating, and executing project management tasks.
  • Ability to analyze and prioritize tasks, solve problems, and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Proven capability to work independently while coordinating and collaborating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ability to foster positive working relationships with personnel at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated good judgment, initiative, and critical thinking skills to execute missions effectively.
  • Ability to support multiple programs and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in technical project management and leading the implementation of new technologies into enterprise systems.
  • Extensive experience in preparing briefings and documentation for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to translate technical information for non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Self-starter with a strong initiative and follow-through.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products.
  • Educational background: BS 8-10 years, MS 6-8 years, PhD 3-5 years.
