Key Responsibilities

Peraton is in search of a dedicated Program Manager Systems Integration (PMSI) Advisor who is enthusiastic about travel, to support our team of specialists in technical and business operations for a Systems Integration/System Engineering Technical Assistance (SI/SETA) mission for a classified client in Virginia.

Our diverse team, encompassing both technical and business expertise, delivers operational support across Systems Engineering/Integration, Mission Planning, and Business Operations across various functional mission domains. This team is accountable for the technical design, operational execution, and mission planning throughout the entire lifecycle of client-specific operations (from conception through development and installation/operations & maintenance).

The Program Manager Systems Integration (PMSI) Advisor will undertake the following responsibilities, among others:
  • Facilitate mission integration and coordination with project leads, campaign teams, execution partners, and relevant organizations.
  • Assist in the planning, documentation, execution, and reporting of all program specifics (e.g., project status) to stakeholders for both current and future years.
  • Participate in project reviews to aid campaigns in evaluating program and initiative outcomes.
  • Support customer Program Managers in the preparation and customization of financial execution reports and program acquisition documentation, ensuring that affordable, supportable, and effective program requirements are defined to meet mission objectives.
  • Provide support in analyzing, tracking, and reporting on program unfunded requirements in line with established processes.
  • Prepare briefing materials, point papers, charts, spreadsheets, and other documentation to facilitate program decision-making.
  • Coordinate financial information with relevant customer officials, including business financial managers, program managers, contract managers, contracting officers, and specialists.
  • Assist customer Program Managers in monitoring requirements through execution by tracking requisitions through the approval and certification processes.
  • Help in overseeing expenses against budget allocations.
  • Contribute to the creation of budget or financial plans for an organization, program, or cost center to identify potential discrepancies.
  • Utilize established acquisition and financial management policies, procedures, regulations, and tools.
  • Create and maintain spending plans within the customer's financial management system to document specified requirements.
  • Assist leads with resource planning and tracking.
  • Coordinate and monitor the technical status, deliverables, and project health for assigned initiatives within campaigns.
  • Travel as necessary to support operations.
Travel Requirements
  • Domestic travel up to twice a year, with potential for overseas travel.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Active/current TS/SCI clearance with an active Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 12 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 10 years of relevant experience; or a PhD with 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong program management capabilities, proactive self-starter, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, eager to learn, willing to share ideas, demonstrates initiative, adaptable to change, and flexible.
  • Prior experience in drafting official communications and coordinating planning in formal channels.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting Operational Readiness Evaluations (OREs) in the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Must have experience coordinating and documenting planning in formal channels.
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience conducting operations within the IC.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with RF collection and signal processing.
  • Specific experience managing projects using sound project management principles.
  • Experience with cyber-related projects.
  • Familiarity with technical targeting methodologies.
  • Proven ability to transform undefined work with ambiguous success criteria into actionable and measurable efforts.

The displayed estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Peraton's total compensation package.
