Peraton is looking for a dedicated Program Manager Systems Integration (PMSI) Advisor who is enthusiastic about travel, to contribute to our team of technical and business professionals delivering operational and mission support for a Systems Integration/Systems Engineering Technical Assistance (SI/SETA) mission for a classified client in Virginia.
Our specialized team encompasses a variety of technical and business expertise, providing operational support across Systems Engineering/Integration, Mission Planning, and Business Operations for diverse functional mission areas. This team oversees the technical design, operations, mission planning, and business operations throughout the complete lifecycle of customer-specific operations, from initial concept through development and installation/operations and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate mission integration and coordination with project leads, campaigns, execution partners, and relevant organizations.
- Assist in the planning, documentation, execution, and reporting of all program details, including project status updates for stakeholders.
- Participate in project reviews to support campaigns in evaluating program and initiative outcomes.
- Support customer Program Managers in the creation and customization of financial execution reports and program acquisition documentation, ensuring that program requirements are affordable, supportable, and effective in meeting mission objectives.
- Provide assistance in analyzing, tracking, and reporting on program unfunded requirements according to established processes.
- Prepare briefing materials, point papers, charts, spreadsheets, and other resources to aid in program decision-making.
- Coordinate financial data with relevant customer officials, including business financial managers, program managers, contract managers, contracting officers, and specialists.
- Assist customer Program Managers in monitoring requirements through execution by tracking requisitions through the approval and certification process.
- Support monitoring of expenses against established budgets.
- Assist in developing budget or financial plans for an organization or program to identify potential variances.
- Utilize established acquisition and financial management policies, procedures, regulations, and tools.
- Create and maintain spend plans within the customer's financial management system to document specified requirements.
- Assist leads with resource planning and tracking efforts.
- Coordinate and monitor the technical status, deliverables, and overall project health for assigned projects within campaigns.
- Travel as necessary to support operations.
- Domestic travel up to twice a year, with potential for overseas travel.
This role necessitates on-site work from Monday to Friday.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Active/current TS/SCI clearance with an active Polygraph.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 12 years of relevant experience; or a Master's degree with 10 years of relevant experience; or a PhD with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
- Strong program management capabilities, proactive self-starter, excellent interpersonal skills, eagerness to learn, and willingness to share ideas.
- Prior experience in writing official communications and coordinating planning in formal channels.
- Demonstrated experience conducting Operational Readiness Evaluations (OREs) in the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary technical and non-technical teams.
- Comfortable in a dynamic team environment with a willingness to travel.
- Experience with RF collection and signals processing.
- Proven experience managing projects using sound project management principles.
- Experience with cyber-related projects.
- Familiarity with technical targeting methodologies.
- Ability to transform undefined work with ambiguous success criteria into actionable and measurable efforts.
The displayed estimate represents the typical salary range for this position and is one component of Peraton's total compensation package. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. Peraton also offers a variety of benefits to employees.
