Key Responsibilities

Peraton is in search of a dedicated Program Manager Systems Integration (PMSI) Advisor who is enthusiastic about travel, to support our team of technical and business professionals delivering operational and mission assistance to a Systems Integration/System Engineering Technical Assistance (SI/SETA) mission for a classified client in Virginia.

Our diverse team encompasses technical and business expertise, providing operational support for Systems Engineering/Integration, Mission Planning, and Business Operations across various functional mission areas. The team is accountable for the technical design, operations, mission planning, and business operations throughout the complete lifecycle of client-specific operations (from initial concept through development and installation/operations & maintenance).

The Program Manager Systems Integration (PMSI) Advisor will be tasked with the following responsibilities, among others:
  • Facilitating mission integration and coordination with leads, campaigns, execution partners, and relevant organizations.
  • Assisting in the planning, documentation, execution, and reporting of all program details (e.g., project status) for both current and future years to stakeholders.
  • Participating in project reviews to aid campaigns in monitoring program and initiative outcomes.
  • Supporting customer Program Managers in the creation and customization of financial execution reports and program acquisition documentation, ensuring that program requirements are affordable, supportable, and effective to meet mission needs.
  • Providing assistance in analyzing, tracking, and reporting on program unfunded requirements in accordance with established processes.
  • Preparing point papers, briefing materials, spreadsheets, and other resources to facilitate program decision-making.
  • Coordinating financial data with appropriate customer officials, including business financial managers, program managers, contract managers, contracting officers, and specialists.
  • Assisting customer Program Managers in tracking requirements through execution by monitoring requisitions through the approval and certification process.
  • Helping to monitor expenses against budgets.
  • Assisting in the development of budget or financial planning for an organization, program, or cost center to identify potential variances.
  • Utilizing established acquisition and financial management policies, procedures, regulations, and tools.
  • Creating and maintaining spend plans in the customer's financial management system to document specified requirements.
  • Assisting leads with resource planning and tracking.
  • Coordinating and tracking the technical status, deliverables, and project health for assigned projects within campaigns.
  • Traveling to support operations as needed.
Travel Requirements
  • Domestic travel up to twice a year; potential for overseas travel.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Active/current TS/SCI clearance with an active Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 12 years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 10 years of relevant experience; or PhD with 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Strong program management capabilities, proactive self-starter, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, eagerness to learn, willingness to share ideas, demonstrates initiative, adaptability to change, and flexibility.
  • Prior experience in drafting official communications and coordinating documentation in formal channels.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting Operational Readiness Evaluations (OREs) in the Intelligence Community (IC).
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary technical and non-technical teams.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic team environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience with RF collection and signals processing.
  • Specific experience managing projects using sound project management principles.
  • Experience with cyber-related projects.
  • Familiarity with technical targeting methodologies.
  • Ability to transform undefined work with ambiguous success criteria into actionable and measurable efforts through collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
