Job Overview

ROLE:

As a Floating Financial Services Representative, you will embody the values of QNB Bank, delivering exceptional service while efficiently handling transactions. Your role involves promoting bank services and making referrals to relevant departments, all while adhering to regulatory standards and internal policies. You will travel to various branches within the QNB network to support branch teams as needed.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:


  1. Exemplify QNB's Service and Sales initiatives with enthusiasm, ensuring that both goals and quality benchmarks are consistently met.
  2. Foster strong customer relationships by representing QNB with professionalism and confidentiality, providing prompt and accurate transaction processing through consultative selling and effective cross-selling techniques.
  3. Promote deposit and loan products, directing customers to the appropriate resources.
  4. Execute Financial Service Representative duties with precision, ensuring accurate cash drawer and Teller Cash Recycler (TCR) balancing at day’s end.
  5. Demonstrate proficiency in all aspects of the Financial Service Representative role.
  6. Engage effectively with others, going beyond mere instructions to build rapport.
  7. Possess comprehensive knowledge of QNB products and actively support service and sales initiatives, including referral and product campaigns.
  8. Complete all assigned compliance training promptly and apply the knowledge gained to your responsibilities.
  9. Contribute to community engagement through participation in local volunteer and charitable activities.
  10. Be available during all branch operating hours, including weekends and holidays.
  11. Take on additional responsibilities as required, including flexibility to work at any branch location.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Ability to stand for extended periods, potentially throughout the day.
  2. Strong interpersonal skills to positively represent the Bank in interactions with both internal and external clients.
  3. Complete required training and product knowledge within the first six months of employment.
  4. Capability to lift and handle coin bags weighing between 25-50 pounds.
  5. Effective communication skills that align with QNB's sales strategies, including the ability to identify and meet customer needs.
  6. Basic literacy and numeracy skills; completion of high school or equivalent vocational training is necessary.
  7. Adhere to QNB compliance standards in operations and security, following government regulations and established procedures.
  8. Successfully complete Banking Fundamentals within the first 18 months of employment, achieving a grade of C or higher.
  9. Meet annual re-certification requirements for Financial Service Representatives.
  10. This position may require compliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and related regulations, with ongoing employment contingent upon meeting all requirements, including satisfactory background checks.
