Position Overview: Preschool Center Director

As a Center Director at The Learning Experience, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of young children and guiding the professional development of educators. You will foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere that promotes growth for both staff and students.

Leadership Responsibilities
  • Identify, schedule, and interview potential teaching candidates; cultivate networks for future talent acquisition.
  • Conduct classroom observations and evaluations, providing constructive feedback that inspires and enhances learning.
  • Oversee the implementation of the TLE curriculum, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
  • Utilize a growth-oriented mindset to mentor, coach, and develop staff for future success.
  • Actively listen to employee concerns and devise appropriate action plans.
  • Develop and communicate weekly staff schedules.
  • Manage classroom ratios on a daily basis.
  • Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations through meticulous management of employee documentation.
  • Communicate and manage center schedules to maintain appropriate staff-to-child ratios and budget adherence.
Customer Engagement
  • Lead tours for prospective families, showcasing the unique aspects of our curriculum and the quality of our educators.
  • Maintain regular communication with families regarding their children's progress.
  • Implement initiatives that enhance parent satisfaction.
  • Oversee the execution of our Show and Tell program.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure all student and teacher records are maintained accurately.
  • Ensure the center meets all health and safety standards in compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Manage relationships with state licensing officials and perform center evaluations.
  • Oversee accident and incident reporting procedures.
  • Administer medication as required.
  • Conduct monthly emergency safety drills.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations for new customer administration and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid MA EEC Director I Certification.
  • Completion of 14 credits in Early Childhood Education and 2 credits in Child Care Administration.
  • A minimum of one year of leadership or management experience in a center setting is required.
  • Two or more years of leadership or management experience in a center setting is highly preferred.
  • Professional teaching experience with infants to preschool-aged children is essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of state licensing regulations is required.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification is highly preferred.
  • Must meet state-specific guidelines.
Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year
