Position Overview: Preschool Center Director

As a Center Director at The Learning Experience, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational journey of both children and educators. Your leadership will foster a collaborative atmosphere, promoting growth and community engagement.

Leadership Responsibilities
  • Identifies, schedules, and interviews potential teacher candidates; cultivates networks for future talent acquisition.
  • Conducts classroom observations and evaluations, providing constructive feedback that inspires and motivates.
  • Oversees the implementation of the TLE curriculum, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
  • Utilizes a growth mindset to mentor, coach, and develop staff for future success.
  • Actively listens to employee concerns and formulates actionable plans.
  • Creates and communicates weekly staff schedules.
  • Manages classroom ratios on a daily basis.
  • Handles new hire documentation and maintains employee files in compliance with state regulations.
  • Develops and communicates center schedules to maintain appropriate ratios and manage labor effectively.
Customer Engagement
  • Leads tours for prospective families, showcasing the unique aspects of our curriculum and the quality of our educators.
  • Maintains regular communication with families regarding student progress.
  • Implements engaging activities for parents.
  • Facilitates our Show and Tell program.
  • Regularly audits and updates all student and teacher records.
  • Ensures the physical environment meets health and safety standards in compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Manages relationships with state licensors and conducts center evaluations.
  • Responsible for reporting accidents and incidents.
  • Oversees medication management.
  • Conducts monthly emergency safety drills.
  • Administers new customer documentation in compliance with state regulations.
Qualifications
  • Must possess a valid MA EEC Director I Certification.
  • Completion of 14 credits in Early Childhood Education and 2 credits in Child Care Administration.
  • A minimum of one year of leadership or management experience in a center setting is required.
  • Two or more years of center leadership experience is highly preferred.
  • Professional teaching experience with infants to preschool-aged children is essential.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of state licensing regulations is necessary.
  • CPR and First Aid Certification is highly preferred.
  • Must meet state-specific guidelines.
Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

Sign-on Bonus: $500, along with childcare, learning and development opportunities, benefits, and paid time off.
