Plaskolite Inc is seeking an experienced talent acquisition professional to spearhead the recruitment initiatives at our Corporate Office. The primary focus of this role is to identify and attract top-tier candidates to enhance the Plaskolite workforce. The selected individual will serve as a bridge between hiring managers and potential candidates, guiding applicants through the entire hiring and onboarding journey. This position will also encompass additional HR Generalist duties as outlined below.

The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including exceptional communication and organizational capabilities, adaptability, and meticulous attention to detail. A high degree of professionalism is essential, as this role involves interaction with both external candidates and Plaskolite's Management, including the Executive Leadership Team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

RECRUITMENT (70%):

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored to internal clients, including conducting needs assessments.
  • Advise hiring managers on the recruitment process and best practices.
  • Source, interview, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers, gathering feedback to refine recruitment strategies.
  • Establish partnerships with external organizations (educational institutions, trade schools, professional associations) to enhance applicant flow and promote brand visibility.
  • Proactively propose innovative talent solutions that add value, anticipate needs, and streamline processes for clients.
  • Utilize business insights to address recruitment needs by participating in business unit meetings and staying informed about organizational changes.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and feedback.
  • Educate candidates on career advancement opportunities, benefits, and the advantages of joining Plaskolite.
  • Provide relevant market data to support client needs.
  • Manage and enhance the Plaskolite Careers page on the corporate website.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders for candidate development and offer negotiations.

HR GENERALIST (30%):

  • Create and maintain comprehensive job descriptions.
  • Establish and manage digital employment records.
  • Provide HR support across worksite locations, monitoring changes in employment laws and regulations.
  • Oversee HRIS system functions, including onboarding, terminations, promotions, and reporting.
  • Update the employee handbook as necessary.
  • Assist with benefits administration, compensation analysis, and employee engagement surveys.
  • Support the annual performance review process.
  • Contribute to the development of employee training and recognition initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting within a fast-paced corporate environment or agency setting, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Experience with payroll processes is advantageous.
  • Relevant recruiting certifications (AIRS, LinkedIn, etc.) are preferred.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems; experience with UKG is a plus.
  • Strong multitasking, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and rapport with a diverse range of candidates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
  • Proven track record in candidate sourcing and relationship building.
  • Comfortable negotiating candidate compensation.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
