Job Overview:

Plaskolite is seeking an experienced talent acquisition professional to spearhead the recruitment efforts at our Corporate Office.

Your main focus will be to identify and attract top-tier candidates to become part of the Plaskolite workforce.

This role involves acting as a bridge between hiring managers and potential candidates, guiding applicants through every phase of the hiring and onboarding journey.

Additional responsibilities related to HR Generalist functions will also be included in this position.

Success in this role requires a diverse skill set, including exceptional communication and organizational abilities, adaptability, and meticulous attention to detail.

A high level of professionalism is essential, as interactions will occur not only with external candidates but also with Plaskolite Management, including the Executive Leadership Team.


Key Responsibilities:
RECRUITMENT (70%):
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored to internal clients, including needs assessments.
  • Provide expert guidance to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process.
  • Source, interview, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers, refining recruitment strategies based on feedback.
  • Establish partnerships with external organizations (educational institutions, trade schools, professional associations) to enhance applicant flow and brand visibility.
  • Proactively propose innovative talent solutions that add value and streamline processes.
  • Utilize business acumen to address recruitment needs by participating in business unit meetings and staying informed about organizational changes.
  • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, sharing feedback and updates.
  • Educate candidates on career advancement opportunities, benefits, and the advantages of working with Plaskolite.
  • Provide relevant market data to support recruitment efforts.
  • Oversee and enhance the Plaskolite Careers page on the corporate website.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders for candidate development and offer management.
HR GENERALIST (30%):
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive job descriptions.
  • Create and manage digital employment records.
  • Provide HR support across worksite locations, monitoring changes in employment laws and regulations.
  • Oversee HRIS functions, including onboarding, terminations, promotions, and reporting.
  • Update the employee handbook as necessary.
  • Assist with benefits administration, compensation analysis, and employee engagement surveys.
  • Support the annual performance review process.
  • Contribute to the development of employee training and recognition initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting within a fast-paced corporate environment or agency setting, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Previous payroll experience is advantageous.
  • Recruiting certifications (AIRS, LinkedIn, etc.) are preferred.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems; familiarity with UKG is a plus.
  • Exceptional multitasking, project management, and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build credibility and respect with a diverse range of candidates and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to generate candidates and build relationships.
  • Comfort with direct candidate sourcing and negotiation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
