Job Overview:
Plaskolite is seeking an experienced talent acquisition professional to spearhead the recruiting efforts at our Corporate Office.
Your main objective will be to attract and secure top-tier candidates to become part of the Plaskolite workforce.The role involves acting as a bridge between hiring managers and prospective employees, guiding candidates through every phase of the recruitment and onboarding journey.
Additional responsibilities related to HR Generalist functions will also be included in this position.This role demands a diverse skill set, including exceptional communication and organizational capabilities, adaptability, and meticulous attention to detail.
A high level of professionalism is essential, as interactions will occur not only with external candidates but also with Plaskolite's Management, including the Executive Leadership Team.
Key Responsibilities:
RECRUITING (70%):
- Develop and implement recruiting strategies for internal clients, including conducting needs assessments.
- Provide counsel to hiring managers regarding the recruitment process.
- Source, interview, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers, gathering feedback to refine recruitment strategies.
- Establish partnerships with external organizations (educational institutions, trade schools, professional associations) to enhance applicant flow and brand visibility.
- Proactively offer innovative talent solutions that add value and streamline processes for clients.
- Engage in business unit meetings to understand changes within the organization and manage expectations of hiring managers and candidates.
- Maintain consistent and timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing feedback and updates.
- Educate candidates on career advancement opportunities, benefits, and the advantages of working with Plaskolite.
- Provide relevant market data to support client needs.
- Oversee and enhance the Plaskolite Careers page on the corporate website.
- Collaborate with stakeholders for candidate development and offer management.
- Develop and maintain job descriptions.
- Create and manage digital employment records.
- Provide HR support across worksite locations, ensuring compliance with local employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee HRIS functions, including onboarding, terminations, promotions, transfers, pay adjustments, and reporting.
- Update the employee handbook as necessary.
- Assist with benefits administration, compensation, and employee engagement surveys.
- Support the annual performance review process.
- Contribute to the development of employee training and recognition initiatives.
- Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in full-cycle recruiting within a fast-paced corporate environment or agency, preferably in manufacturing.
- Prior experience with payroll processes is advantageous.
- Recruiting certifications (AIRS, LinkedIn, etc.) are preferred.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems; familiarity with UKG is a plus.
- Strong multitasking, project management, and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of establishing credibility with a diverse range of candidates and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment with multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to generate candidates and build professional relationships.
- Comfortable with direct candidate sourcing and negotiations regarding compensation.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
