Position Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing On-site Staffing Manager to join our Operations team. This role is crucial for managing vendor relationships within an enhanced Managed Service Provider (MSP) framework.

Key Responsibilities
The Manufacturing On-site Staffing Manager will:

  • Oversee order distribution and onboarding processes.
  • Act as a liaison between Impact's network of Strategic Partners and their workforce.
  • Manage overall operations at client sites, ensuring effective labor management, productivity, and quality control.
  • Conduct interviews, selections, and hiring processes.
  • Facilitate training for new and existing employees.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work in collaboration with client management.
  • Handle performance appraisals and address employee performance issues.
  • Implement employee motivation and reward initiatives.

Additional Duties
Responsibilities may also include:

  • Management of requisitions and invoice adjustments through VMS software.
  • Coordination of new hire orientations.
  • Management of active headcount and identification of core talent.
  • Conducting background checks and drug screenings for new hires.
  • Submitting payroll hours to the Payroll & Billing Specialist.
  • Assisting in employee terminations while minimizing risk.
  • Serving as the primary contact for hiring managers and client HR.
  • Collaborating with client managers to address recruitment and retention challenges.
  • Evaluating staffing strategies and plans.
  • Providing coaching, counseling, and mentoring.
  • Tracking attendance and managing employee relations investigations.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Staffing, Recruiting, or Client Relationship roles.
  • Familiarity with vendor management software (VMS) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of HRIS/ATS systems.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work effectively on the operational floor.
