Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician II to join our team at MICONE STAFFING RESOURCES, INC. as a key member of our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and performing repairs as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency.
  • Assist with electrical maintenance and repairs under supervision to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, logging any completed work in the maintenance management system.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance shop and work areas to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Work with Production to ensure timely response to equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment to ensure the well-being of yourself and others.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development of skills to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support the maintenance team and ensure the smooth operation of the production facility.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in maintenance or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics required.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, required.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with maintenance management software, required.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds required.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including exposure to machinery and tools, required.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods required.
  • Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus required.
