Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Safety Coordinator to join our team at Technipower. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the administration of the job site safety program, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct thorough walk-through inspections to identify potential hazardous situations and implement corrective actions.
  • Compile data and statistics to inform safety policies and procedures.
  • Issue entry permits and ensure that all necessary safety protocols are in place.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure the proper functioning of fire protection systems.

Requirements:

  • CHST certification is mandatory.
  • OSHA certifications are preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in safety construction, specifically in civil land construction.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of $45-50.
  • The opportunity to work on a 6-month+ contract with potential for extension to permanent employment.
