Key Responsibilities
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Conduct regular safety meetings with production teams to ensure awareness and adherence to safety protocols.
    • Investigate and report all incidents and injuries, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
    • Monitor and maintain a safe working environment, ensuring that all necessary safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) are available and used correctly.
  • Production Planning and Control
    • Develop and implement production schedules and plans to meet customer demands and achieve business objectives.
    • Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overheads.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Team Leadership and Development
    • Lead and motivate production teams to achieve high levels of productivity and quality.
    • Provide coaching and training to production staff to develop their skills and knowledge.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to production staff.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new processes and procedures.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of new processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, engineering, or operations management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a production or operations role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving high levels of productivity and quality in a production or operations role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop production staff.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business outcomes.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
