Manager of Billing and Compliance for Healthcare

Position & Client Overview:
A prominent healthcare organization is seeking a Manager of Billing and Compliance to oversee operations during the day shift at a high-volume trauma facility. Certification as a medical laboratory scientist is essential.
Salary Range: $80,000-120,000
Role Summary:
This position is responsible for managing all financial functions of the laboratory, ensuring the implementation of accounting policies, systems, and procedures for precise and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present regular financial statements and special reports accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with the Controller and team to ensure all accounting and financial reporting tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Develop and maintain essential financial models.
- Establish and enforce accounting policies and procedures to ensure fair financial representation.
- Formulate the annual forecast for each division and continuously monitor it against actual financial performance.
- Plan and manage cash expenditures.
- Assist external auditors as necessary.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills while summarizing complex financial data.
- Exhibit a willingness to explore and adopt new technologies for efficient data management.
- Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate diplomacy and tact in high-pressure situations.
- Perform additional related duties as required.
Education, Certification, & Experience:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field.
- 3-5 years of experience in finance management, billing, and compliance.
- MLS(ASCP) or MT(ASCP) certification is mandatory.
- Tennessee MT license is preferred.
Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
