Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team and help grow CodeHS. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a pipeline of leads to increase the number of schools regularly using CodeHS on both free and Pro versions. You will work closely with teachers, school administrators, and school districts to build relationships and advocate the benefits of CodeHS to potential customers.
Responsibilities- Build strong relationships with teachers and administrators to help them reach their goals for offering computer science and turn them into customers
- Communicate with school and district stakeholders via email, phone, and video calls to advocate the benefits of CodeHS
- Manage a strong pipeline of leads and maintain accurate data using our CRM to hit quarterly and annual sales targets
- Cultivate interest in upgrading among teachers using our free version
- Work with a wide range of stakeholders from individual teachers in single classrooms to high-level district administrators
- Work closely with our Customer Success team and actively communicate school and district needs to the rest of the CodeHS team
- You are a great communicator with strong written and verbal skills
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented with a passion for helping students and schools
- 1-2 years of professional sales experience, with EdTech sales experience a bonus
- No experience coding is required, but you should have an interest in learning
- 5-10% travel, with company meet-ups approximately quarterly and conference travel as needed
