Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at Tasteful Selections. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing sales strategies to drive growth in the retail markets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the produce industry, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and become knowledgeable about the produce industry, developing an understanding of corporate sales strategy, grower partnership, and customer development.
- Participate actively in regional and national Industry Trade Councils and Boards to establish and maintain a widespread contact network and to keep abreast of relevant industry trends.
- Communicate routinely across internal cross-functional departments and with retailer and grower teams as needed to achieve growth and budget targets.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales plans to achieve targets and objectives.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional programs and campaigns that will drive revenue growth.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing in retail food channels.
- Must be able to travel up to 60% of the time.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
