The Club Director is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Middle Tennessee. This role requires a strong leader who can manage staff, develop programs, and ensure the overall success of the Club.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement programs that align with the Club's mission and goals, ensuring a positive impact on youth development.
- Staff Management: Supervise and evaluate staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are meeting program objectives and outcomes.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets and control expenditures, ensuring the Club's financial resources are utilized effectively.
- Community Engagement: Develop and maintain partnerships with community leaders, organizations, and parents to enhance program goals and objectives.
- Communication and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of programmatic and operational data, maintaining close communication with Club staff and management.
- Education: Four-year degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: A minimum of five years of work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization, planning and supervising activities based on the developmental needs of young people.
- Skills and Knowledge: Demonstrated ability to critically think through issues, resolve problems, and solution-oriented; strong communication skills, both oral and written; ability to deal effectively with members, including discipline problems; working knowledge of budget preparation, control, and management.
- Knowledge of 21st Century Educational Grants: Preferred knowledge of 21st Century educational grants.
- CDL License: Possession of a valid state driver's license and ability to obtain CDL license.
- CPR and First Aid Certifications: Possession of or ability to obtain CPR and First Aid certifications.
