The Ground Services Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to both internal and external clients. This position requires a thorough understanding of company protocols and effective communication with customers, pilots, and fellow team members.

Essential Duties
  1. Manage aircraft movement, positioning, fueling, and storage.
  2. Oversee fuel quality control, disposal, and related documentation.
  3. Conduct daily inspections and maintenance of crew vehicles.
  4. Ensure the upkeep of facilities.
  5. Provide outstanding customer service and promote available services.
  6. Participate in monthly team meetings.
  7. Engage in annual training sessions.

Work Environment: This role requires outdoor work in various weather conditions and involves interaction with both stationary and moving aircraft. Employees may encounter hazardous noise levels, chemicals, and machinery.

Physical Requirements

To succeed in this position, candidates must be able to:

  • Lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, walking, and climbing.
Qualifications
  1. Prior customer service experience in a related field is preferred.
  2. Experience in aircraft ground handling is advantageous.
  3. A high school diploma is required.
  4. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  5. Possess a valid driving record.
  6. Adhere to a zero-tolerance drug-free policy, including pre-employment and random screenings.
Compensation and Benefits

The starting pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with flexibility based on previous aviation experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a matching 401k program, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage. We recognize and reward hard work with performance-based bonuses.
