The Ground Service Agent plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality service to both internal and external clients by utilizing comprehensive knowledge of operational procedures and effective communication with customers, pilots, and team members.

Work Schedule: Employees should be prepared for flexible hours and varied workdays.

Key Duties Include:

  1. Managing aircraft movement, positioning, fueling, and storage.
  2. Overseeing fuel quality control, disposal, and documentation.
  3. Conducting daily inspections and maintenance of crew vehicles.
  4. Maintaining the facility and ensuring cleanliness.
  5. Providing exceptional customer service and promoting available services.
  6. Participating in monthly team meetings.
  7. Engaging in annual training sessions.

Required Competencies:

Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Line Service Manager.

Work Environment: The role involves outdoor work in diverse weather conditions and direct interaction with aircraft. Exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, and machinery may occur.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  2. Possible exposure to hazardous conditions.
  3. Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  4. Physical activities may include bending, lifting, walking, and climbing.

Position Type: This is a non-exempt role that requires shift work, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Travel Requirements: No travel is anticipated for this position.

Qualifications:

  1. Preferred experience in customer service within the service industry.
  2. Prior experience in aircraft ground handling is advantageous.
  3. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  4. Entry-level candidates are welcome.
  5. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  6. Must have an acceptable driving record.
  7. Zero tolerance for drug use; pre-employment and random screenings are conducted.

Compensation: Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, with flexibility based on previous aviation experience.
