Culinary Delivery Specialist

Job Title: Culinary Delivery Specialist

Reports To: General Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Summary: The primary role of the culinary delivery specialist is to ensure timely and accurate delivery of meals to patrons.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other tasks may be assigned.

The main responsibility of the culinary delivery specialist is to transport meals to restaurant guests efficiently.

It is crucial for the culinary delivery specialist to be prompt and effective in order to preserve the temperature of the food.

Familiarity with each dish and its presentation is essential.

Conducts a final quality assurance check of items before serving to guests. Removes any items that do not meet quality standards.

Completes all assigned side tasks.

Skills: The culinary delivery specialist must be capable of swiftly and accurately delivering meals to guests.

Guest Service: Responds promptly to guest inquiries and needs.

Interpersonal Skills: Provides friendly and welcoming service to guests.

Oral Communication: Communicates clearly and listens attentively to guests; responds effectively to questions; relays all inquiries to the server.

Attendance/Punctuality: Maintains consistent attendance and punctuality; ensures responsibilities are managed in the event of absence.

Dependability: Adheres to instructions, responds to management guidance; takes ownership of actions; fulfills commitments.

Safety and Security: Observes safety protocols; reports potential hazards; utilizes equipment and materials correctly.

Certificates and Licenses:

Food Handlers Card

Local government food safety certification where applicable.

Local government alcohol service certification where applicable.

Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Stamina to work up to 40 hours each week, more if needed. Availability to work various shifts as required.
