POSITION SUMMARY

As a Food Server, you will be responsible for delivering food and drink to guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your duties will include setting tables according to event specifications and service standards, as well as responding to inquiries regarding menu options. You will act as a liaison between guests and the kitchen, communicating any special requests, dietary restrictions, or allergies.

It is essential to accurately record orders using the MICROS system and check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction with each course and beverage. Maintaining cleanliness in your work area, including dishes and utensils, is crucial throughout your shift. You will also be tasked with completing closing duties, such as restocking supplies and ensuring the workspace is tidy.

Adhering to all company policies regarding safety and security is vital. You will report any incidents or unsafe conditions to your supervisor and complete necessary safety training. Presenting a professional appearance and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information is expected. You will greet and acknowledge all guests in line with company standards, anticipate their needs, and assist individuals with disabilities as required.

Building positive relationships with colleagues and supporting team objectives is important. You will ensure compliance with quality standards and be able to read and verify information in various formats. The role requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods and the ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently, and heavier items with assistance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.

License or Certification: None required.
