JOB SUMMARY: The Sanitation Specialist II will be responsible for the thorough cleaning of all casino areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of one year of professional cleaning experience in a casino, hotel, warehouse, or similar setting.
  • Ability to train on and operate specialized cleaning equipment.
  • Ability to obtain certification in Aerial Work Platform Operation and Safety.
  • Must secure a Food Handlers Permit.
  • Pass pre-employment testing.
  • Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Capability to bend, reach, push, pull, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to perform job duties at heights of up to 30 feet safely.
  • Ability to stand and/or move continuously during the assigned shift.
  • Ability to work in a noisy, smoke-filled environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Understanding of Hospitality Industry Guest Service Standards.
  • General cleaning tasks including restroom maintenance, vacuuming, dusting, waste disposal, mopping, and glass cleaning.
  • Deep cleaning tasks for areas requiring additional attention, such as floor treatments and high dusting.
  • Accessing sensitive areas to complete cleaning duties.
  • Safely and effectively operate cleaning equipment.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the Custodial Shift Lead.
  • Provide training to new custodial staff, promoting a positive work culture.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
