Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers, a leading provider of comprehensive healthcare services, is seeking a highly skilled Dental Assistant II to join our team. As a Dental Assistant II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental providers in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide chair-side assistance to dental providers, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficient and effective procedures.
  • Obtain accurate blood pressure readings and other vital signs as directed by dental providers.
  • Assist patients with treatment plans, cost estimates, and sequencing of treatments.
  • Complete insurance pre-authorizations and verify patient eligibility and benefits as directed by dental staff.
  • Assist in coordinating the training of new employees and dental trainees.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • Completion of a formal Dental Assistant program at a college, technical institute, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 6 months of work experience in a dental assistant position.
  • Registration with the Washington State Department of Health.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hire date.
  • TB testing annually and a current Washington State Dental Registration.
