About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced Vice President of Field Sales, Cloud Security to drive our global sales strategy and lead a team of Regional Sales Directors. In this role, you'll oversee the execution of our worldwide Cloud Security portfolio and play a key part in achieving company sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Cloud Security globally.
  • Promote a creative Go-to-Market (GTM) execution plan to safeguard our customers and prevent cloud breaches.
  • Mentor and manage your team to ensure successful sales strategies and goal attainment.
  • Collaborate with the sales management team on quarterly and annual strategic planning sessions.
  • Communicate corporate strategy to employees within your team.
  • Plan and direct activities including forecasting, marketing program development, relationship building, customer satisfaction, and collateral material development and distribution.
  • Establish short-term and long-term goals and quotas aligned with business objectives.
  • Identify necessary resources to support sales strategy and propose budgets for senior management review.
  • Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure sales goals are met.
  • Keep senior leadership informed of key issues and changes impacting expected business outcomes.
  • Engage with Product teams and Product Marketing teams to guide product development and market messaging.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience leading/managing senior sales teams with complex products and solutions.
  • Able to sell directly and through channels.
  • Proven track record working with multimillion-dollar targets.
  • Expert knowledge of the full sales cycle and C-Level interactions.
  • Background in selling Cloud Security products is beneficial.
  • Technical aptitude and ability to quickly learn new concepts.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM systems is advantageous.
  • Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Second-line management experience essential.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
  • Passionate about building relationships and negotiating effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with functional peers across functions, including Channel, Marketing, Sales Operations, System Engineering, Services Customer Support, and Product Development.
  • Proven ability to work creatively with service delivery partners.
  • Strong understanding of security management technologies and competitive offerings in the marketplace.
  • Experience with target account selling, solution selling, and/or consultative sales techniques.
  • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions address business problems.
  • Experience leading multiple worldwide teams with a track record of exceeding assigned sales quotas.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Sales organizations and technical teams.
  • Experience developing budgets and predicting project costs.
  • Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.
  • Ability to work remotely and willing to travel.
Management Skills:
  • This individual uses their management and technical expertise to develop, modify, and execute company policies affecting operations and potentially having a company-wide impact.
  • The scope of responsibility includes implementing strategic policies, establishing and adhering to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
  • May serve as an advisor or subject matter expert.
  • Sets revenue targets and ensures they are met.
  • Hires, trains, and manages a team of highly motivated and successful senior sales professionals.
  • Ensures the team achieves all metrics and quotas across regions.
  • Successfully forecasts team revenue numbers.
  • Prepares and executes a thorough business plan.
  • Reports on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management.
Compensation:

The base salary range for this position in the U.S. is $180,000 - $320,000 per year. In addition, the role offers variable/incentive compensation, equity, and benefits.
