Job Title: Resident Relations Coordinator

At Sherman Associates, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Resident Relations Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our residents, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience in our communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcoming and greeting residents, visitors, and company personnel with a positive attitude.
  • Providing information and resolving concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensuring resident needs are met by providing directions, explaining documents, and leading resident event coordination.
  • Surveysing current residents and prospects for desired services and delivering resident notices for facility upgrades and construction.
  • Assisting with resident retention program development and partnering with teams to enter new Work Order requests.
  • Performing office support tasks such as filing, sorting mail, mass mailings, and photocopying.
  • Maintaining key log for all vendors, visitors, and ensuring communication is responded to or forwarded to the correct person/department.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of previous receptionist and/or administrative assistant experience required; experience in leasing/property management preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to communicate effectively with community tenants, vendors/external parties, and across corporate divisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude; ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Experience with diverse communities, including tenants with limited English proficiency.
  • A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates.
Work Environment:

This role operates in a professional office environment with standard office equipment and moderate noise levels.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role include regular talking and hearing, frequent standing, walking, and use of hands to finger, handle, or feel.
