Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Resident Services Coordinator to join our team at Vernon Terrace of Edina. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide critical support to our senior living community, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional resident experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and approve employee nursing staffing schedules, ensuring accurate and timely communication with staff and management.
  • Coordinate Human Resources functions, including payroll, annual performance reviews, education compliance, and personnel paperwork.
  • Coordinate training for new employees and maintain Educare records, reporting concerns to supervisors as needed.
  • Communicate with providers and doctors, scheduling appointments and coordinating care conferences.
  • Assist with billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable, ensuring accurate and timely financial management.
  • Provide administrative support, including receptionist duties and maintaining resident directories.
  • Work as a Resident Assistant (caregiver) upon request of building leadership, providing direct care to residents as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience with MS Office products and ability to maintain a high level of customer service with tact and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of staff and residents.
  • Ability to be organized and tackle problems, with a focus on providing exceptional support to our senior living community.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One to three years of related experience, preferably in long-term care or assisted living environments.
  • Vocational training or degree in healthcare management or a related field.
  • Experience working with eldermark or educare software programs.
