Adams Outdoor Advertising (AOA), recognized as a leading player in the Outdoor Advertising sector, is in search of a Sales Support Specialist. This role is pivotal in assisting the advertising sales team with proposal management, tracking performance metrics, and maintaining accurate inventory reports while serving as a professional point of contact for incoming inquiries.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Disseminates all sales-related communications effectively.
- Prepares and designs outgoing proposals and presentations.
- Gathers essential information for Account Executives.
- Organizes insertion orders and necessary documentation.
- Compiles weekly sales projections for management review.
- Conducts regular updates of inventory within the Inventory Management System.
- Provides support to the Sales Manager and occasionally the General Manager.
- Handles incoming calls, representing the company professionally.
- Creates advertising and media kits for promotional purposes.
- Updates and maintains prospect kits.
- Conducts market research on existing and potential clients.
- Facilitates communication between clients, Account Executives, and various departments.
- Develops inventory maps to enhance the sales process.
- May assist in distributing and updating marketing materials.
- Prepares and sends proof of performance documentation to clients.
- May participate in weekly sales meetings as required.
- Collaborates with the Regional Business Manager on accounts receivable tasks.
- Performs additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- One to two years of experience in general office or clerical roles, with a solid understanding of advertising functions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with proficient data entry and computer capabilities.
- Founded in 1983, AOA stands as a prominent entity in the Outdoor Advertising industry, operating across multiple markets.
- In 2021, AOA received investment from Searchlight Capital Partners and British Columbia Investment Management Corporation, enhancing its operational capabilities.
