Job Title: Family Support Specialist

At Youth Advocate Programs, we are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Family Support Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering quality community-based services to families, utilizing our organization's mission and core principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized service plans to meet the unique needs of each family.
  • Provide counseling, support, and advocacy to families, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Collaborate with social agencies, hospitals, clinics, schools, and community resources to coordinate and implement community-based services.
  • Report special, unusual, or critical incidents, and provide consultation to families and involved professionals.
  • Assist with monthly meetings for all clients and teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a mental health-related field, such as psychology or social work.
  • One to two years of experience in community-based family work and knowledge of local community resources.
  • Bi-lingual skills are highly preferred.
