Provide proactive updates to leadership and stakeholders, highlighting impacts and alternatives for managing project scope, schedule, and budget. Mentor team members in effective presentation techniques.

Lead or contribute to the creation of advanced analytics tools, engineering models, and associated software planning, while providing insights on the selection of enabling software technologies.

Design, code, and test at various system levels, implement, and offer comprehensive support for BI-supported systems and third-party applications. Develop a decision support framework that facilitates continuous improvement through self-tuning models.

Design and implement solutions utilizing existing Schneider technologies, collaborating with the Architecture team to integrate new technologies and create proof-of-concept projects to keep the technology stack current.

Telecommuting is permitted 2-3 days per week.

Qualifications


This position requires a Master's degree in Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field, along with 4 years of relevant experience.

Alternatively, a PhD in Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field, along with 2 years of relevant experience will be accepted.

Required Experience:

  • Providing leadership and technical direction on cross-team projects that support company objectives;
  • Leading and participating in the development of advanced analytics tools, engineering modeling, and related software planning;
  • Applying mathematical optimization modeling, linear programming techniques, and methodologies to select appropriate methods for assignments;
  • Proficiency in Java or Python;
  • Experience with modeling interfaces such as ILOG Concert, DoCPLEX, or Gurobipy;
  • Familiarity with high-level modeling languages including AMPL, GAMS, or MOSEL;
  • Creating innovative solutions that effectively manage data imperfections to resolve complex challenges.
