About the Role:
As a Senior Technology Architect, you will be instrumental in crafting the architecture for our global financial technology platforms. Your knowledge will be pivotal in determining the performance and scalability of our systems.

Your grasp of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles will inform the selection, management, and administration of essential systems and software within our ecosystem.


About the Team:
The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team provides essential support to various banking platform teams. Our main objective is to enhance automation, implement observability, and promote SRE methodologies.

Our team's expertise covers a range of environments including Linux, Windows, and IBM Mainframe architectures, with team members possessing diverse skill sets to ensure top-tier support.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the architectural framework utilized across multiple products or systems.
  • Influence design decisions that will shape the future of our offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders from Business, Product, Technology, and Operations.
  • Design comprehensive solutions for strategic business initiatives.
  • Allocate architectural resources to guide decisions at an initiative or epic level.
  • Support Core Banking platforms across various architectures, with future transitions to cloud solutions.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and assess technical debt to align with business and project requirements.
  • Adhere to the solution architecture delivery process and comply with established standards.
  • Ensure alignment of solution architecture with organizational policies and guidelines.
  • Define necessary business capabilities and align them with operational models, technical platforms, integrations, and infrastructure.
  • Incorporate SRE practices to improve system reliability.
  • Analyze design options and present recommendations with rationale.
  • Address complex issues requiring thorough evaluation of various factors.
  • Exercise sound judgment in selecting methods and techniques.
  • Network with key contacts beyond your immediate area of expertise.
  • Collaborate extensively with various parties across the organization, partners, and clients.
  • Maintain a repository of functional component models for product lines.
  • Document functional product solutions and key opportunities in financial services.
  • Curate a catalog of reusable functional application components relevant to diverse applications and product lines.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in roles such as Site Reliability Engineer, Operations Engineer, or Software Engineer.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ruby) and shell scripting.
  • Expertise in Linux server environments (specifically RHEL/CentOS).
  • Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, and LAN/WAN technologies.
  • Understanding of end-to-end systems development life cycles.
  • Ability to lead large projects with confidence.
  • Experience in a distributed and heterogeneous computing environment.
  • Experience with relational or hierarchical databases.
  • Design and implement applications within a shared service bureau environment.
  • Utilize model-driven design tools and techniques for solutions design and requirements definition.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • SRE / Agile / DevOps Certifications.
  • Knowledge of the Fintech and Finance Industry.
  • Familiarity with relevant products and services.
