About the Role

The Sales Counselor will be responsible for providing a customer-focused experience during every interaction with families, guests, and community members. This includes guiding individuals and families through end-of-life memorial planning, providing options to meet their unique needs, and advising on associated costs and financing options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with families and community members to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Provide personalized sales presentations and recommendations to meet the needs of customers.
  • Manage daily CRM and lead data base, including generating new leads and categorizing leads.
  • Plan and conduct community outreach events to build relationships and generate new leads.
  • Complete all required paperwork and processes to finalize sales and deliver services.
  • Actively participate in supporting services at the location.
  • Participate in sales meetings and communicate effectively with local management and team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with some additional education preferred in a related area such as Business, Marketing, and/or Sales.
  • 1 year of sales experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Microsoft Excel and Outlook) required.
  • Experience working in a CRM (lead management system) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
