Job Title: Customer Service Representative

At Taghleef Industries, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Takes initiative to creatively exceed customer service standards in accordance with company strategies, values, and policies.
  • Operates with a high degree of professionalism and maintains customer relationships with specific customers, prospects, and reps.
  • Ensures customer service performance goals are met and maintains an effective balance between available inventories, production schedules, and customer demands.
  • Works in support of resolving customer service-related issues with urgency and collaborates in the establishment of customer service operating plans and budgets.
  • Manages the daily activities of customer service representatives and coordinates with appropriate departments and personnel to meet customer requirements.
  • Communicates and interacts regularly with internal and external customers and monitors the status of open orders, confirms shipping dates, and communicates problems and delays to customers and management when necessary.
  • Coordinates shipping arrangements with customers, creates invoices, and prepares and sends samples as requested by customers.
  • Provides reports and reconciliations as requested by internal and external customers and processes and coordinates customer issues or complaints.
  • Handles issues related to order entry, work order, invoicing, and shipping and maintains customer and department filing and archiving systems.
  • Provides material information sheets upon request and reviews and directs all website inquiries to correct personnel or department.
  • Enters various data into the SAP system, including revised customer data, and is responsible for keeping sales orders in file and shipping out as per the acknowledged ship date given to the customer.
  • Performs duties of other Customer Service Representatives as needed in their absence and manages time and tasks with little or no supervision.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma is required (Associates Degree is preferred).
  • Knowledge of business and communication principles involved in customer relationship management.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in customer service function is required.
  • Strong customer management background is required, with strong relationship building skills, written and verbal communication skills, and numerical and reasoning abilities.
  • Strong data reporting and computer skills are required, with a clear understanding of customer service technologies, quality improvement techniques, and initiatives.
  • Must be able to work independently and understand customer service expectations.
  • Must be highly organized and self-directed, with proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP systems and/or other ERP/CRM tools is preferred, and the ability to speak multiple languages (Spanish) is a huge advantage.
