At TREE House, we're seeking a highly skilled Technical Program Manager to play a pivotal role in guiding new technology from concept to production. As a key member of our Software Engineering Team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create top-tier products that meet the needs of our users.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the strategy, planning, execution, and delivery of technically complex software features across all software engineering platforms at TREE House.
- Manage scope, resources, and timelines in collaboration with Technical Leads, Product Managers, Leadership, and Hardware Program Managers to ensure timely project delivery with maximum user value.
- Ensure smooth software releases to a large user base, maintaining predictable engineering efforts and cadence.
- Develop and maintain new project management tools to monitor and assess the performance of the software engineering team.
- Coordinate dependencies across teams, including Materials and Validation.
- Collaborative mindset to work with various technical disciplines such as Software, Hardware, and Design teams.
- Inherent Software Engineering background with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proven track record as a successful SW engineer or in a highly technical product or program management role.
- Ability to discuss in detail the software features you have launched and how their success was measured.
- Capable of engaging in technical discussions with Software Engineers from different disciplines such as embedded systems, algorithms, UI, and web development.
- Proficient in utilizing Atlassian products or custom software to create suitable project management tools for specific programs.
- Highly collaborative with an action-oriented approach, continuously seeking to enhance schedule and program efficiency. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior experience managing R&D projects with vague deadlines or deliverables at the initial stages.
- Background in robotics or automation.
- Familiarity with various software engineering domains.
