About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Solutions Engineer to join our team at SmartBear Software. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for supporting our customers in implementing our solutions and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to sales reps, showcasing the value of our solutions
  • Tackle technical challenges with creative solutions that are built on the SmartBear advantage
  • Work closely with our Solutions Engineers to manage POCs, build out account-specific use cases, and assist where needed
  • Build relationships with the users of our tools as they navigate through a POC, by checking in, holding screen-shares, and researching their asks
  • Collaborate and innovate with Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Adoption teams to drive product success and customer satisfaction after the deal closes
  • Assume responsibility for all components of the technical win by completing RFPs, building POC checklists, tailored demo environments, etc

Requirements:

  • New to tech and eager to learn, with a strong technical competency through education or boot-camp
  • Public portfolio of projects that demonstrate ability to build
  • A people person, with a feeling working on Jira tickets all day won't be for you, and want a more people-focused career
  • Comfortable under pressure, with a dynamic environment where things can change on a moments notice, and improvisation is a daily activity
  • Team player, motivated to help the team win, and willing to do what you can to make that happen
  • Learning mindset, motivated to learn new technology, and enjoy sharing what you've found
