**Your Role in Creating Chemistry**

As a Production Engineer, you will:

  • Lead technical initiatives for production processes, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, efficiency, compliance, safety, and responsible care standards. This includes preparation, monitoring, and closure of production runs, along with adjustments to instructions or material usage.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to processes, equipment, and product quality, becoming an authority in your area of expertise.
  • Work autonomously to enhance processes and explore alternative technologies aimed at minimizing ergonomic and process safety risks, as well as reducing costs and waste.
  • Collaborate with Process Engineers on plant trials, including new product scaling, technology transfers, and raw material substitutions.
  • Exhibit initiative and a strong results-oriented mindset, managing process modifications in line with BASF's Management of Change protocols.
  • Engage in customer relations as necessary, compiling and presenting information to foster relationships and guide plant operations.

**Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical Engineering.
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in an industrial setting, focusing on process design, support, or production.
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
