Your role as a Manufacturing Process Engineer includes:

  • Providing technical guidance for production initiatives to manufacture products that meet established standards of quality, cost, efficiency, compliance, safety, and responsible care. This encompasses preparation for runs, monitoring production, and finalizing production activities along with any necessary adjustments to instructions or material usage.
  • Diagnosing and offering solutions to address challenges in processes, equipment, and product quality. You will develop expertise in your products, processes, and equipment.
  • Working independently to optimize processes and explore alternative technologies to minimize ergonomic and process safety risks, enhance quality, reduce equipment failures, and decrease costs and waste.
  • Collaborating with Process Engineers on plant trials, including new product scale-up, technology transfers between plants, and raw material substitution trials.
  • Exhibiting initiative and a strong drive for results, you will manage process modifications within your areas of responsibility using the BASF Management of Change framework.
  • Engaging in customer relations as necessary, including gathering and presenting information. These skills will be essential for building relationships and guiding plant floor operations.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred).
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in an industrial field (process design, process support, and/or production).
  • Strong technical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and present data effectively.
