About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join our team at Medtronic. As an Electrical Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing analog and digital electronic circuits for battery-operated microcontroller-based medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits for medical devices
  • Work on product and tester electronics in laboratory and manufacturing test environments
  • Research and implement state-of-the-art technologies to enhance product features, improve reliability, and reduce device size
  • Support the development of ultra-low power mixed-signal integrated circuits for medical devices
  • Implement Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM) principles within the functional area

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
  • Experience in digital and analog circuit design
  • Proficient in programming in C, C++, and/or Python for embedded and/or test applications
  • Familiar with wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, BLE, WiFi, etc.)
