About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at Medtronic. As a key member of our Operations team, you will play a critical role in the development of processes necessary to optimize Diabetes related processes in a lean manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling.
  • Develop complex experiments and tests to qualify and validate manufacturing processes, analyze results, make recommendations, and develop reports.
  • Work closely with the Operations team, Regulatory, R&D, Suppliers, and Quality to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to optimize/improve manufacturing processes using engineering methods, such as SIX Sigma and LEAN methods.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical Science required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant Engineering experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 0 years of relevant Engineering experience.
  • Experience in medical device manufacturing or manufacturing in highly regulated industry/environment preferred.
  • Green Belt Certified, Black Belt Certified, and PMP certified a plus.
