Weekly Payroll: Receive payments every week
Available Shifts: Evening and Overnight
Shifts include:
- 8:30 PM - 5:15 AM
- 9:30 PM - 6:15 AM
Position Summary:
The Valet Attendants play a crucial role in fostering a welcoming, friendly, and professional atmosphere. Responsibilities include greeting guests, ensuring safe vehicle management, and maintaining effective control of parking areas in line with company standards. This position demands exceptional customer service and communication skills, representing J|D Operational Services with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome arriving guests and provide prompt, courteous valet service.
- Inspect vehicles for pre-existing damage and inform guests accordingly.
- Document guest details, vehicle specifics, and secure keys for parking.
- Assist guests with special needs and luggage.
- Evaluate vehicle conditions and note any significant features or issues.
- Designate parking spots and issue vehicle claim checks to guests.
- Report any security concerns or traffic issues promptly.
- Understand the legal implications of valet operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the valet area.
- Communicate effectively with guests, addressing inquiries and resolving complaints within authority.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Customer-oriented with a strong commitment to service excellence.
- Able to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Capable of passing airport security clearance.
- Strong motivation, responsibility, and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.
Experience and Education:
Minimum of 1 year in the hospitality sector, particularly in customer service roles (experience in parking services is advantageous).
Licensing/Certifications:
Valid in-state driver's license with a clean driving history, able to pass a motor vehicle record background check.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, bend, and move luggage frequently.
Reporting Structure:
This position reports to the Assistant Valet Manager or Valet Manager.
