Job Summary
The Parking Attendant position at ABM Industries provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of parking garages and surrounding areas, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain parking garage and surrounding areas, including removing trash, cleaning elevators and entrances, and painting deck floors and curbs.
- Approach and greet all customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
- Notify managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.
- Perform other tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to complete all assigned duties.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
