Position Summary:

The Valet Attendants play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere by greeting and assisting guests. They are responsible for guiding vehicles safely and efficiently while managing parking spaces in accordance with company standards. The Valet serves as the first point of contact for guests, delivering exceptional customer service and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and provide courteous valet services.
  • Inspect vehicles for any pre-existing damage and inform guests accordingly.
  • Document guest details, vehicle specifics, and secure keys for parking.
  • Assist guests with special needs and luggage handling.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and note any distinctive features or damages.
  • Assign parking locations and issue vehicle claim checks to guests.
  • Report any security concerns or potential issues regarding guest vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean and organized valet area at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with guests and resolve complaints as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Customer-focused with a commitment to service excellence.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass an airport security clearance.
  • Strong time management and communication skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in the hospitality or customer service industry.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capable of standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and move luggage as needed.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Valet Manager or Assistant Valet Manager.
