- Scheduling and Verification: Schedule and verify appointments in our clinical information system, ensuring seamless coordination with healthcare providers.
- Patient Data Management: Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information, maintaining accurate records.
- Task Management: Send and receive tasks to provider offices to facilitate patient access to medical care.
- Referral Processing: Receive and process stat and at-risk referrals, expediting critical patient care.
- Communication: Contact patients to inform them of appointment and referral status, ensuring timely updates.
- Data Entry: Perform high-volume data entry tasks, maintaining accurate records.
- Complaint Resolution: Process and resolve expedited patient complaints, providing prompt and effective solutions.
- Medication Refill Processing: Review and process medication refill requests, ensuring timely fulfillment.
- Proactive Response: Respond proactively to inquiries from patients, providers, and internal medical personnel, providing expert support.
- Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience.
- Age: Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Experience: 1+ year of experience with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications.
- Electronic Medical Record Systems: 1+ year of experience with electronic medical record systems.
- Availability: Ability to work our normal business hours of 8:00am - 5:00pm, with occasional overtime or weekend work as needed.
- Related Experience: 1+ year of experience in a related environment, such as office, administrative, clerical, customer service, or healthcare.
- Healthcare Experience: Prior experience in healthcare, including patient support and medical record management.
- eClinicalWorks EMR System: Prior experience with the eClinicalWorks EMR system.
- Bilingual Fluency: Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
