Business Development Manager

At data.world, we're on a mission to revolutionize the way organizations interact with data. As a Federal Account Executive, you'll play a critical role in driving our growth and expansion into the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development strategies to identify and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers in the federal government.
- Collaborate with our product team to identify market needs and develop solutions that meet the evolving demands of our customers.
- Work closely with our sales leadership to develop and refine your sales strategy, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives across various roles, driving business growth and expansion within our target market.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in high-tech, complex enterprise software/SaaS sales, with a proven track record of success.
- 5+ years of experience selling to federal agencies, with strategic contacts and relationships throughout the ecosystem.
- Proven success closing large, complex sales or strategic partnerships in a startup environment.
- Strong technical understanding and background, with a technical degree a plus.
- Self-motivated, proactive sales hunter with excellent communication and listening skills.
- Ability to manage and execute all phases of the sales process, while strategically leveraging necessary support for success.
