Brown Advisory's Private Client Service team is seeking driven and ambitious professionals who are passionate about client service. The ideal candidate is eager to build a career in the finance sector and is interested in collaborating with complex multi-generational families and family offices. Our team operates in a dynamic, trust-based partnership with Portfolio Managers to address a wide array of client needs. Candidates must demonstrate the professional maturity required to manage confidential and sensitive client matters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all facets of administration and client service for high net worth families and family offices.
  • Maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, including prospects and clients.
  • Possess a solid understanding of trusts, foundations, and LLC structures.
  • Organize and manage meetings from inception to conclusion.
  • Establish strong working relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
  • Manage account maintenance tasks, including opening new accounts and processing transactions.
  • Understand basic fiduciary responsibilities relevant to client relationships.
  • Proactively resolve client inquiries through direct contact.
  • Supervise cash processing for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with external advisors regarding clients' personal, trust, and other entities' tax information.
  • Prepare letters and other communications for clients.
  • Conduct customized analyses and create spreadsheets for specific projects.
  • Process tailored client reporting.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of competitor and industry products and services.
  • Effectively cultivate relationships with various functional groups across the firm.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with Trusts and Fiduciary accounts.
  • Knowledge of diverse accounting tasks related to the preparation and maintenance of financial records.
  • Strong management capabilities and leadership experience.
  • Willingness to learn and the ability to quickly adapt.
  • Detail-oriented with superior client service skills.
  • Exhibit tact, discretion, and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Commitment to innovation and process enhancement.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adjust to shifting priorities to meet client demands.
  • Self-motivated with a robust work ethic.
