We are currently seeking a Client Advisor to join our Surety division. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering timely and cost-efficient solutions to our clients, ensuring that appropriate bonds and protections are established for each program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential leads by assessing prospects and analyzing their market position; conduct thorough research to evaluate sales options.
- Foster strong relationships with clients by offering support, information, and strategic guidance; explore and recommend new business opportunities, including cross-selling initiatives.
- Collaborate with various divisions to promote the full range of products and services available at Unison Risk Advisors.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive activities.
- 2-7 years of experience in a sales role is preferred if there is no prior Surety experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in underwriting, underwriting support, or claims roles is preferred if applicable Surety industry experience exists (not with a broker).
- 1-3 years of experience in a sales position working with contractors on bid bonds and payment/performance bonds is preferred if applicable Surety industry experience exists with a broker.
- A robust network within the Maryland / D.C. / PA / Virginia region is advantageous.
- Experience in Banking, Accounting, Financial Statement Analysis, or engagement with construction company leadership is a plus.
- A strong awareness of how individual contributions affect overall company success.
- An ability to deeply understand client needs, ensuring they recognize your commitment to their priorities while identifying cross-selling opportunities.
- A drive to excel and innovate within the business environment.
- A proactive, hunter mentality in pursuing new business opportunities.
