About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Trust Advisor to join our team at Truist. As a key member of our wealth management team, you will be responsible for providing expert fiduciary advice and solutions to high net worth clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients to deliver comprehensive wealth management solutions, including financial planning, estate planning, and trust administration.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide expert advice on complex fiduciary documents and strategies.
  • Conduct client meetings to discuss trust and estate administration, discretionary actions, and other related matters.
  • Develop and maintain a book of business focused on high net worth clients with assets exceeding $25MM.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and provide expert advice to clients.

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, Trust Administration, or Law.
  • 10+ years of fiduciary experience, with a focus on business development and relationship management.
  • Effective communication and analytical skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and manage client priorities.
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ability to learn proprietary bank platforms and software.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • LL.M in Taxation, Masters of Taxation, CPWA, CIMA, or other advanced designations.
  • 15+ years of fiduciary experience with a focus on business development and relationship management.
