Job Title: Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

At MFA Co, we are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team. As a key member of our Obstetrics and Gynecology department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound examinations and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound examinations and procedures with or without physician guidance
  • Set up and operate ultrasound equipment, including daily maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Position patients appropriately and ensure their comfort and safety during examinations
  • Generate reports on examinations and procedures and ensure timely submission to referring physicians
  • Submit billing for patients with accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures
  • Demonstrate techniques and procedures to students and residents as assigned
  • Perform decontamination on equipment and maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program
  • Current and valid certification in Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) and American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
