The Clinical Nursing Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Nursing to ensure the provision of exceptional care, aiming for positive clinical outcomes and satisfaction for patients, families, and staff.

**Position Highlights**

  • Report directly to the Director of Nursing
  • Oversee, guide, and manage the clinical operations of nursing units during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to Genesis policies, procedures, practice standards, and regulations.
  • Assist in the execution of the care delivery model and associated processes
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to ensure sufficient nursing staff is available for safe, round-the-clock care, focusing on minimizing overtime and agency staffing.
  • Engage in staff mentorship, recruitment, orientation for new hires, and provide recommendations for promotions, transfers, and terminations.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State Board of Nursing is mandatory. A minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience is preferred.
  • At least two years of clinical experience in long-term care is preferred. One year in a management, administrative, or supervisory role is preferred.
