Are you passionate about enhancing the quality of life for others? We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to become a vital part of our Hospice team.

Competitive Compensation:
Starting pay ranges from $30.00 to $35.00+ per hour, based on experience. Additionally, we offer a $1,500 sign-on bonus for full-time LPN positions.

Role Overview:
The Licensed Practical Nurse will deliver direct patient care under the guidance of a registered nurse. Key responsibilities include:
  • Adhering to the established care plan and executing necessary treatments.
  • Collaborating with healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
  • Providing timely and accurate documentation in accordance with the care plan.
  • Educating patients and their families on self-care techniques relevant to their diagnosis and care plan.
  • Coordinating home health or hospice services and effectively communicating patient needs to the registered nurse or Clinical Supervisor.
  • Utilizing and preparing medical equipment and supplies while maintaining aseptic techniques.
  • Engaging in personal and professional development activities.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned by the registered nurse.

Essential Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
  • Have graduated from an accredited practical nursing or vocational nursing program.
  • Possess a minimum of three years of nursing experience, preferably in community/home health or medical/surgical settings.
  • Exhibit compliance with professional standards and practices.
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective organizational abilities.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have access to a reliable vehicle that meets organizational insurance requirements.

Licensure and Certifications:
Candidates must be currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse in the state and maintain valid CPR certification.
